An awkward teenager builds a spaceship to go to space as his mother prepares to emigrate from post-Soviet Ukraine in the 90s.

 

In the '90s Ukraine, an awkward 12-y.o. Anton with an angelic voice, dreams of space travel. After founding a rocket-shaped slide in an abandoned Soviet playground, he teams up with a quirky homeless rocket engineer Valentine. Yet, his mother's wish to emigrate so Anton can join the Vienna Boys' Choir looms over his cosmic ambitions.
